Generac CEO Aaron Jagdfeld told CNBC Monday that the backup power generator company expects to benefit from the adoption of 5G wireless technology.
“We think that’s a space that is going to grow tremendously over the next five years,” he said in an interview with Jim Cramer on Mad Money.
Jagdfeld is not alone in this sentiment. Telecom companies must find solutions to ensure that the power doesn’t go out, and when it does, they need a backup plan for any service interruption. Electricity outages, whether planned or unexpected, can be costly for customers when they result in lost revenue and/or inventory. This is because many people turn to emergency backup generation (BG) as a way of avoiding these costs but it’s not always the best solution.
Maintaining an effective BG system requires proper planning that includes purchasing parts from reliable vendors who offer competitive pricing on quality equipment with prompt delivery service guarantees.
